In other words, do you ever portray yourself as a victim (whether of circumstances or of other people’s behavior) in order to gain sympathy from others?
I think we all have a tendency to play the victim more than we’d like to admit.
And yet, playing the victim doesn’t empower us. In fact, when we play the victim, we give our power away.
