👌great timing this week as I upset my daughter- however I felt I hadn’t done it out of spite just concern. I apologised and explained my frustrations but also admitted that I’m not perfect. Sometimes we need courage to say things that may hurt but in their best interests? It doesn’t always get received well Ofc but it’s from love and concern and therefore nothing to be ashamed of. When they are upset with things they don’t want to hear, that hurt is fired back. I believe if you love someone deeply, the truth, (but sometimes delivered inappropriately) is the strength and guidance they need. We all resist what is not easy I guess. 🙏💕
Thank you for your response, Jo!
